Work-Study is a Federal student aid program. Fill out the FAFSA early, and remember to apply each year. Renewals are not guaranteed continuing jobs if they don't apply early enough for the next year. Pay is at the current minimum wage rate and paychecks are available the fifteenth of each month. The Financial Aid Office helps students locate jobs, on and off campus should they not be able to obtain one by using the eRecruiting website listed below.

Institutional payroll is a job with the University which the student generally finds on his/her own. It is not Work-Study. The pay rate is minimum wage, and jobs are similar to Work-Study positions. Students must be enrolled full-time at the University. Work cannot exceed 20 hours a week during the academic year and 39 hours during periods of non-enrollment.

Students may also contact Residential Living to inquire about employment as a Student Advisor in the residence halls. To inquire about Graduate Assistantships contact the Graduate Office.

The Truman State University Bookstore and Sodexho Food Service are private vendors on campus which also employ students.
