Investing in Students Application
The Investing in Students Fund has been established by an initial contribution from Darrell and Nancy Krueger and is supported by donations from alumni and friends of the University.
Investing in Students funds will be awarded as grants, loans, or student employment. To be considered for one of these awards, an applicant must be a currently enrolled or returning student who is in good standing. Applications will be reviewed carefully to assure that the limited funding available is directed to students with the most critical need. Applicants must have a valid FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file. If your FAFSA application is selected for verification (the federal government requires the FAFSA processing center select 30%), the verification must be completed before award consideration. The Investing in Students Grant is reserved for students with highest need as determined by cost of attendance and FAFSA results.
Awards from the Investing in Students Fund will be in the amount of $1,000 annual limit. To be considered for these funds, applicants must agree to accept the Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan as part of their financial assistance package. The Investing in Students award type will be determined after the FAFSA results are finalized, financial aid award notices have been sent and students have completed the award acknowledgement process. Awards are not automatically renewable for subsequent academic years. Reapplication is required annually.
