(Designed for personal use only; do not submit to the Financial Aid Office.)
Tuition Costs assume level state funding for the coming academic year. At this time, we believe the full-time undergraduate tuition for 2009-2010 will remain the same as the current academic year - $6458 for Missouri residents and $11,309 for non-residents. (Undergraduate tuition is a flat fee for students taking 12-17 credit hours per semester. Tuition includes the Student Recreation Center Fee and the Student Union Fee.) State funding appropriations will be approved in late spring.

*There may be additional charges for discretionary fees - parking sticker ($50/year), course overloads (over 17 credit hours per semester), special lab or materials fees (applicable to only a few courses; reflected in first billing), etc.
*Books and supplies are purchased separately and not billed through the University. Costs vary but an amount should be estimated when determining a realistic budget for the year. (Based on a national average, the maximum amount allowed for books and supplies in our cost of attendance is $1,000.)
*Personal Expenses and Transportation Costs vary from student to student but some amount needs to be considered in your personal budget planning. (Based on a national average, the amount allowed in our cost of attendance is $3,800.)
Each school develops estimated budgets or a cost of attendance, similar to the one above, which reflect costs for the academic year. Some of the expenses may already be partially covered by the student or family, especially personal expenses such as clothes, medical, and grooming supplies. The cost of attendance less the expected family contribution (calculated by a standard needs analysis performed on the data provided from The Free Application for Federal Student Aid), determines the financial need of a student.
