FAFSA COUNTDOWN FOR STATE AID

*** 2010-2011 FAFSA Reminder

Please file your 2010-2011 FAFSA if you have not done so already.  It is important to file ASAP to be considered for all available funding.  April 1 is the deadline for the Access Missouri Program (MANY of our in-state students lost out on FREE Access Missouri money ranging from $1,000 to $1,680 this year due to late FAFSA filing – don’t let this happen to you!).  The website to file is www.fafsa.gov and our school code is 002495.

*** If you are unable to file the FAFSA before April 1, it is recommend that you file the FAFSA as you are still eligible for federal aid.

*** ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS ***

*** Since we are moving to Direct Lending, ALL students will need to complete a new Master Promissory Note (MPN). Please go to http://dlenote.ed.gov to complete your MPN.  This MUST be done before loan funds can be paid to your student account.  If you have never had a Stafford loan before you will also need to complete entrance loan counseling at www.dl.ed.gov before funds can be applied to your student account.
